I'm Jacob Davies. I work on AI safety, from technical safety work to governance and strategy.

This site maps what I'm learning, building, and thinking about at the intersection of different AI safety fields. I think of the AI safety landscape as 'Borderlands': there is a lot of territory to explore, there is a lot of danger, and the best way forward is transparent mapping of the territory.
